A major organization in the global information and communications technology sector is seeking a FAS Application Specialist for an initial 6-month contract position located in Corsham.
The successful candidate must possess either DV or SC Clearance and have experience with FAS Applications such as NIRIS, ICC, and JChat.
This role involves acting as the 3rd line support and managing incidents on clients’ live systems, specifically on escalated FAS App incidents.
Candidates should be proficient with operating systems like Windows Server 2012/16, Windows 10, and have strong PowerShell and scripting skills.
The position offers a competitive salary of £500 per day, requiring a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

This role will be located in Corsham and will be based on site.

About the role

We are looking for a FAS Engineer to bolster the current FAS team, you will act as the 3rd line support within the team. Your role will primarily involve incident management on our clients’ live system, on FAS App incidents that have been escalated from level 1/2 resources that are often remotely based environments. The role will be working with our other embedded engineers within a customer environment. The role will require experience of FAS Applications.

Experience of FAS Applications support: NIRIS - ICC - JChat – LOGFAS – JOCWatch - TOPFAS
Reviewing documentation for Installation and integration of software packages.
Operating Systems: Windows Server 2012/16, Windows 10, VMWare, Solaris, HyperV, Powershell. Windows Policies and Firewall settings, RedHat/Oracle, PKI, SQL, PostgreSQL
Strong PowerShell and other scripting experience
