Job Summary

The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in senior care, with a strong background in both assisted living and domiciliary care. As Care Coordinator, you will provide inspirational leadership to a team of caregivers, oversee the development and implementation of personalised care plans, and champion the health, happiness, and overall well-being of those in your care.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualised care plans for residents, ensuring their needs are met with dignity and respect.
  • Supervise and manage a team of caregivers, providing guidance and support to ensure high standards of care are maintained.
  • Conduct regular assessments of residents’ health and well-being, adjusting care plans as necessary.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and oversee medication management protocols within the facility.
  • Foster a supportive environment for residents and their families, addressing any concerns or queries effectively.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for residents.
  • Maintain accurate records of resident care and progress in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Experience

  • Previous supervisory or management experience within a care environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with developing care plans tailored to individual needs is crucial.
  • Experience in medication administration and understanding of relevant regulations is required.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with residents, families, and staff members.
