Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualised care plans for residents, ensuring their needs are met with dignity and respect.
- Supervise and manage a team of caregivers, providing guidance and support to ensure high standards of care are maintained.
- Conduct regular assessments of residents’ health and well-being, adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Administer medications as prescribed and oversee medication management protocols within the facility.
- Foster a supportive environment for residents and their families, addressing any concerns or queries effectively.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for residents.
- Maintain accurate records of resident care and progress in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Experience
- Previous supervisory or management experience within a care environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with developing care plans tailored to individual needs is crucial.
- Experience in medication administration and understanding of relevant regulations is required.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with residents, families, and staff members.
