Chemical Process Operator

Full-time Permanent On-site



The Role

An established manufacturing organisation is seeking a Chemical Process Operator to support its production operations. This is a hands-on role focused on blending chemical raw materials accurately, maintaining high quality standards, and meeting daily production targets in a safe and efficient manner.



Key Responsibilities

  • Blend raw materials in line with formulations provided by the Quality function

  • Set up, select, and accurately weigh raw materials

  • Take samples for analytical testing

  • Complete production records, documentation, and report any issues

  • Monitor blending processes, identify deviations, and resolve issues proactively

  • Operate counterbalance FLT (Fork Lift Truck)

  • Flush DI plant systems as required

  • Carry out manual handling tasks (up to 25kg)

  • Work in a noisy and dusty environment (PPE provided)



About You

Essential / Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • FLT licence (counterbalance)

  • Computer literate; experience using ERP systems advantageous

  • Experience working within a manufacturing/production environment

  • GCSE Maths and English (grades A-C or equivalent)
