The Role
An established manufacturing organisation is seeking a Chemical Process Operator to support its production operations. This is a hands-on role focused on blending chemical raw materials accurately, maintaining high quality standards, and meeting daily production targets in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities
Blend raw materials in line with formulations provided by the Quality function
Set up, select, and accurately weigh raw materials
Take samples for analytical testing
Complete production records, documentation, and report any issues
Monitor blending processes, identify deviations, and resolve issues proactively
Operate counterbalance FLT (Fork Lift Truck)
Flush DI plant systems as required
Carry out manual handling tasks (up to 25kg)
Work in a noisy and dusty environment (PPE provided)
About You
Essential / Desirable Skills & Experience:
FLT licence (counterbalance)
Computer literate; experience using ERP systems advantageous
Experience working within a manufacturing/production environment
GCSE Maths and English (grades A-C or equivalent)
