Job Title: Senior Safeguarding Social WorkerLocation: North WalesPay Rate: £37,938 - £41,511 / AnnualLiquid Personnel is seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker for the Safeguarding Team to join our esteemed client. To be successful in this role, you must be registered with Social Work England (SWE) as a Social Worker and hold a qualification equivalent to the Diploma in Social Work (DipSW). The Safeguarding Social Worker will be responsible for delivering a high-quality social work service to adults and their families, aiming to achieve positive outcomes in line with the Service's visions and priorities.

Roles and responsibilities :

  • Provide support and develop resilience and independence.
  • Ensure that adults and their families are at the center of decision-making about their lives and the outcomes they want to achieve without compromising their safety.
  • Develop an understanding of the culture, health, and social needs of the locality or community to inform practice.
  • Undertake basic preventative work to reduce the need for managed care or accommodation.
  • Make and support placement arrangements and future plans for individuals when necessary.
