Based from Cottingham (HU16) working Locally and Nationally | £48,000 incl. overtime
Smart Power are hiring an Electrician to join our team. We’ve got a strong, steady flow of work across industrial, commercial and domestic projects.
Much of our industrial work is nationwide, so you’ll need to be happy working away – usually 3 nights away, 2–3 weeks out of every 4. It’s not all the time, and we make sure the load is shared fairly across the team.
Key Facts:
- £17.00 per hour (for NVQ L3 + 18th Edition + AM2)
- Hourly rate depending on Qualifications/Experience
- Overtime paid at 1.5x – average 10 hours/week
- ~£48,000 total annual earnings with overtime
- Fridays often finish early
- Optional weekend work
- Company van (modern caddy-size) + fuel card
- Free secure parking at HQ
What you’ll need:
- NVQ Level 3
- 18th Edition
- Full UK driving licence
Nice to have (but not essential):
- ECS Card
- 2391 Test & Inspect
- IPAF
- Experience with EV chargers or industrial installs
