Sutton Recruitment are seeking several skilled Fabricator/Welders. The ideal candidates will possess a background in MIG welding and fabrication, with the ability to work with various materials. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the capability to assemble components using both hand and power tools whilst working in the work shop and on site.
Responsibilities:
Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to specifications.
Experience using MIG welding techniques.
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in the fabrication process.
Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate production.
Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet industry standards.
Hourly rate:
16.00 PAYE
Overtime rate (after 40 hours)
24.00 PAYE
Skills Required
- Proficient in welding techniques, particularly MIG welding.
- Fabrication knowledge
- Experience working with sheet metal and other fabrication materials.
- Confident in using hand tools and power tools used in the fabrication process.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills.
