Managing Surveyor

Location: Head Office-Surrey (National Travel Required)

Are you ready to take the lead on a diverse range of high-quality fitout and refurbishment projects across the UK? We are looking for a hands-on Managing Surveyor to join the senior team and drive commercial success across multiple fast-paced projects.

About

Based in Coulsdon, Surrey, our client is a growing construction and refurbishment company delivering outstanding office fitouts, high-end residential projects, term maintenance (MTC) works, and more. With project values typically between GBP20k and GBP800k, and a client base including the MOD, Border Force, and Home Office, we are renowned for quality, precision, and speed.They are looking for a Managing Surveyor who is ready to make a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee commercial management of refurbishment, fitout, and MTC projects
  • Produce accurate monthly valuations and financial reports
  • Manage cost and value from pre-construction to final accounts
  • Assess risks, handle variations, and support pricing/tendering
  • Mentor junior surveyors and influence at both site and board level
  • Report directly to the Managing Director and company board


You Bring:

  • Proven experience in quantity surveying (fitout, refurbishment, MTC)
  • Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and project valuation
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and commercial insight
  • Full UK driving license (essential)
  • Ability to obtain SC/NPPV/DBS security clearance
  • RICS qualification (desirable but not essential)
