This specialist school provides therapeutic education for young people with complex needs, including SEMH and ASD. Catering to students from Year 1 to Year 13, the school focuses on removing barriers to learning, building confidence, and helping every learner reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

Lead safeguarding as the Designated Safeguarding Lead

Provide pastoral care and support for students with individual needs

Contribute to school improvement and safeguarding strategies

Identify, monitor, and report safeguarding trends to senior leaders

Build strong relationships with professional services and the wider community
-
Keep accurate records of behaviour incidents
-
Support behaviour management and safeguarding across the school as needed
Requirements
-
Experience in a safeguarding role within an educational setting
-
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a SEND or specialist provision

Strong passion for supporting students with SEND/SEMHÂ needs
-
Committed to safeguarding excellence and ensuring all students thrive

Understanding of the responsibilities and duties of a Designated Safeguarding Lead
