A dynamic and well-established f accountancy firm in Coventry is seeking an experienced Audit & Accounts Senior Manager / Partner Designate to join their growing team. This newly created position has arisen to support the senior partners and help drive the firm's future development.

The Opportunity:

This is a pivotal role for a qualified and ambitious professional looking to take the next step towards partnership. You'll work closely with the partners, helping to free up their time for business development by overseeing the firm's audit function and supporting the general management of the practice.

You'll be the key link between the partners and the wider team, including direct oversight of an established Audit Manager, and will gradually be introduced to a growing portfolio of clients including complex consolidated accounts and IFRS work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the audit department

  • Support with assurance and overall practice operations

  • Act as the bridge between senior partners and staff

  • Lead client meetings and maintain strong client communication

  • Play a proactive role in business development and fee generation

  • Contribute to the strategic growth of the firm

  • Potential to take on the RI role (or work towards it)

What We're Looking For:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)

  • Strong communication and client relationship skills

  • Proven managerial experience within an accountancy practice

  • Commercially minded with an appetite for growth and progression

  • Experience with IFRS and group consolidations a bonus

  • Desire to progress to Partner level
