I'm currently working on an exciting Estimator opportunity with one of my longstanding clients – a well-established regional contractor renowned for their consistent profitability, financial stability, and collaborative culture.
Operating across a diverse range of sectors including Education, Healthcare, Leisure, and Commercial, they typically deliver high-quality projects valued between £5m and £30m.
Due to sustained growth and a strong pipeline of new enquiries, they are now looking to appoint an Estimator to join their expanding pre-construction team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work on a wide range of projects in a stable, forward-thinking business.

Prepare accurate cost estimates for a wide range of projects, from education and healthcare to leisure and commercial sectors, with values ranging from £5m to £30m.

Review project plans, specifications, and requirements to determine the materials, labor, and time needed for project completion.

Use Conquest estimating software to compile detailed cost breakdowns and reports, ensuring all aspects of the project are accounted for.

Collaborate closely with the pre-construction team, project managers, and subcontractors to ensure estimates are realistic and in line with project objectives.

Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and assess value engineering opportunities.

Monitor and adjust cost estimates as needed during the tendering and bidding process, ensuring alignment with client requirements and project budget.

Contribute to the preparation of tender submissions, ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately and on time.

Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring open communication and project alignment throughout the estimating process.
