Opportunity - Financial Controller (reporting to an FD) Duration - 12 months Target Start Date - 20th August onwards
Macildowie Finance are currently working with a c£45m turnover privately owned business based in Coventry to recruit a Financial Controller, on a fixed term maternity cover basis. You will be reporting in to the Finance Director and be exposed to all areas of this dynamic and exciting business, providing high quality, timely and accurate management reporting and financial information, driving profitability and supporting key decisions.Your responsibilities will include:Leadership, coaching and development of the Finance Team.Owning the month end management accounts production - ensuring they are provided to the business/directors in a timely and accurate manner.Owning all Financial Accounting outputs.Cash Flow Reporting.Leadership of the Audit process.Supporting operational teams in the review of P and L's, budgeting and forecasting activities.Business planning/scenario modelling assisting operations in their strategic decision making process.Cost analysis and reporting - highlighting opportunities to improve business performance through efficiency gains. Preparation and presentation of key performance statistics to senior level operational stakeholders.
About You
To be considered for this role you must be ACCA/CIMA/ACA QualifiedAn experienced Excel User (Pivots, Look Ups, Ifs are a must)A confident communicator with experience of partnering with senior level operational stakeholdersPrevious people management experience is essentialStrong Financial Accounting pedigree.Previous experience of Microsoft Dynamics 365 would be advantageous.
