As an OTC & Finance Officer in the retail industry, you will play a pivotal role in managing the company's financial transactions and ensuring smooth operations in the Accounting & Finance department. Description
- Manage the order to cash cycle, including sales orders, customer invoice processing and cash collection.
- Ensure on time payment by customers and develop a robust system for payment follow up
- Review & propose customer credit limits in conjunction with appropriate credit reports
- Maintain customer finance relationships.
- Co-ordinate completion of all Purchase Orders through Pro-Activ system for sales rebate schemes
- Work with Financial Controller to reconcile AR and rebate provisions
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
- Generate and analyse AR and cash collection reports.
- Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Support Financial Controller and FP&A Manager in respect of information or data that they may require, e.g. research and obtain industry data
- Act as office support in relation to, but not limited to, activities such as Health & Safety; Office Events; Travel etc
Profile
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Proficiency in financial management software
- A strong understanding of financial regulations and standards
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
