As an OTC & Finance Officer in the retail industry, you will play a pivotal role in managing the company's financial transactions and ensuring smooth operations in the Accounting & Finance department. Description

  • Manage the order to cash cycle, including sales orders, customer invoice processing and cash collection.
  • Ensure on time payment by customers and develop a robust system for payment follow up
  • Review & propose customer credit limits in conjunction with appropriate credit reports
  • Maintain customer finance relationships.
  • Co-ordinate completion of all Purchase Orders through Pro-Activ system for sales rebate schemes
  • Work with Financial Controller to reconcile AR and rebate provisions
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
  • Generate and analyse AR and cash collection reports.
  • Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation.
  • Support Financial Controller and FP&A Manager in respect of information or data that they may require, e.g. research and obtain industry data
  • Act as office support in relation to, but not limited to, activities such as Health & Safety; Office Events; Travel etc

Profile

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Proficiency in financial management software
  • A strong understanding of financial regulations and standards
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
