Job Role:

We are looking for a forward-thinking HR Automation Lead to drive innovation and efficiency across my clients HR operations. You'll be responsible for identifying automation opportunities, implementing smart solutions, and enabling seamless integration of tools that improve accuracy, speed, and consistency in people services. This role will work cross-functionally with HR, IT, and business leaders to modernise HR processes and enhance the overall employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse current HR workflows to identify automation opportunities
  • Design, test, and deploy automation solutions using platforms like UiPath, Power Automate, or other low-code tools
  • Ensure all automation initiatives comply with GDPR, data security, and internal control standards
  • Collaborate with IT and HRIS teams to ensure integration with existing systems
  • Monitor and continuously optimise automated solutions
  • Develop and maintain documentation, ensuring smooth knowledge transfer and process transparency
  • Provide training and support to HR teams and end-users
  • Contribute to medium-to-long-term automation strategy planning
  • Recommend best practices and drive adoption across teams

Skills Required:

Technical & Functional Skills

  • Hands-on experience with automation platforms (e.g., UiPath, Power Automate, Automation Anywhere)
  • Familiarity with low-code/no-code platforms
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of HR processes and systems (e.g., Workday, Oracle, SAP SuccessFactors)
  • Awareness of GDPR and data security best practices
  • Experience integrating automation into broader IT systems

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to process excellence
  • Comfortable working in cross-functional teams

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Project management or change management experience
  • Scripting or coding skills (e.g., Python, JavaScript)
  • Background in shared services or HR transformation projects
  • Previous experience in HRIS optimisation and implementation
