Location: Coventry

Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm

  • Friday: 7:00am – 1:00pm

  • Overtime available beyond standard hours - paid at an additional £3.50 per hour

Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour

Contract Type: Permanent

 Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Production Operative to join a manufacturing site.

The successful candidate will support a variety of production activities, including CNC machine operation, spraying, sanding, and general tool work. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work as part of a busy production team.

Attitude is a KEY part for this role. Training will be provided

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain a Wood CNC machine to produce components to specification.

  • Carry out spraying and finishing of wooden parts.

  • Perform sanding and surface preparation to a high standard.

  • Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently as required.

  • Provide general assistance across the site, supporting different departments when needed

Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience in a woodworking, CNC, or manufacturing environment preferred, but not mandatory 

  • Ability to read and follow work instructions and production drawings.

  • Good practical skills and attention to detail.

  • Flexible, reliable, and able to work as part of a team.

  • Commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.
