Business Improvement Manager

We’re working with a well-established organisation in the Coventry area that’s investing in its People Services function as part of a broader transformation journey.

They’re looking for a Business Improvement Manager to help modernise internal processes, drive smarter service delivery, and support the rollout of digital tools across the HR space.

If you’ve led change projects, understand HR systems, and enjoy turning insight into action, this could be a strong fit.

What You’ll Be Doing

Service & Process Improvement

  • Champion agile working and support a culture of continuous improvement
  • Lead change projects informed by data, feedback, and stakeholder collaboration
  • Redesign processes and support the rollout of new ways of working
  • Engage colleagues across HR to ensure solutions are practical, adopted, and embedded

Digital Enablement & Tools

  • Support the implementation of platforms like Workday and ServiceNow
  • Maintain and evolve self-service tools and intranet content
  • Create clear training resources and process documentation
  • Contribute to the automation of key People processes (e.g. pay review cycles, bonus workflows)
  • Introduce digital tools (e.g. chatbots) to help reduce admin and improve response times

Data & Insight

  • Lead on monthly reporting across People Services systems
  • Translate metrics into actionable insights for improved delivery
  • Define KPIs and track progress against service outcomes

Compliance & Governance

  • Maintain knowledge banks and standard operating procedures
  • Lead data cleansing activity and improve internal document systems (e.g., SharePoint)
  • Ensure the team is audit-ready and aligned with best practice

What You’ll Need

  • Proven experience in HR operations, service improvement, or business change
  • Strong understanding of agile principles and stakeholder engagement
  • Comfortable using reporting tools (e.g. Excel, Power BI)
  • Experience with HR systems (Workday experience is a bonus)
  • Clear communicator with a collaborative and proactive approach
  • Well organised and comfortable managing multiple workstreams
