The Recruitment Crowd is seeking multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) for a well-known client in Coventry.
The pay rate for this position ranges from £13.36 to £15.05 per hour, with mainly night shifts and weekends required.
Candidates should have a full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement and proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.
A valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card is necessary, along with no more than 6 points on the licence for minor offences.
This is an ad-hoc, ongoing role with potential for permanent employment for the right candidate.

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Coventry area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.

Hours:Mainly night shift and weekends

Pay Rate:£13.36 - £15.05

Location:Coventry, CV3.

Job Type: Ad-hoc , Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate.

The role:

Safely handling and conveying palletised packages to sub depots.

Emphasizing safe driving practices and ensuring precise documentation.

Typically completing 1 to 2 runs during the day.

Drivers will need to contribute to the loading and unloading of the vehicle, utilising a tail lift and pump truck.

Engaging with customers while upholding a professional and polite image on behalf of the company.

Requirements:

Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).

Have proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.

Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

Full understanding of WTD legislation.

Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.

Excellent communication skills.
