We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Geotechnical Site Engineer to join an award winning ground investigation team in Coventry. As a geotechnical site engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting site investigations, including soil sampling, borehole logging, and in-situ testing.
- Preparing detailed geotechnical reports and providing technical recommendations.
- Supervising and managing on-site activities to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated engineering solutions.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations during all site activities.
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to provide updates and address project requirements.
To be successful in your geotechnical site engineer application, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A degree in Geology/Geotechnical Engineering/Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in geotechnical site investigations and reporting.
- Strong understanding of geotechnical principles, soil mechanics, and foundation design.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for geotechnical analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A valid UK driving license and willingness to travel to project sites
- Full right to work in the UK permanently
- Located commutable to Coventry
Your typical day as a geotechnical site engineer day will involve:
