Main Duties:
As a CNC Operator, your responsibilities will include:
- Continuing the production of parts and making necessary adjustments to tooling and wear offsets to ensure machines operate efficiently.
- Carrying out inspections using CMM programs set by inspection and utilising gauges, verniers, micrometers, and height gauges.
- Maintaining clean and tidy workstations while producing high-quality work that adheres to agreed specifications.
- Promoting teamwork by maintaining positive working relationships with colleagues.
Experience Required - CNC Operator:
We are looking for candidates with:
- Time-served or equivalent experience in a precision machining company.
- Good experience in inspecting their own work using CMMs and gauges to verify product quality.
- Familiarity with Heidenhain controls (preferable but not essential) and the ability to work to tight tolerances.
- Strong attention to detail, a flexible mindset, and the ability to be a team player.
Shift Patterns - CNC Operator
- Permanent Days: Monday - Thursday, 07:30 - 16:30, and Friday 07:30 - 12:30
- Permanent Nights: Monday - Thursday, 18:00 – 06:00,
Benefits - CNC Operator
- Salary negotiable up to £17.00 per hour depending on experience.
- Night shift pays a shift allowance of £1.50 per hour.
- Permanent /full time role.
- Overtime is available and paid at 1.33x rate
