We are looking for an experienced CNC Miller. This is a temporary to permanent position starting immediately for the successful candidate.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday - 6pm to 6am
Salary
£16 - £18 per hour
TEMP TO PERM
As an Experienced CNC Miller at Engineering, duties will include:
- Continuation of production of parts already setup and ran during the day
- Carrying out setting and tooling adjustments, on 3 & 5 Axis Milling Machines with Heidenheim controls, to ensure production continues without interruption during the night
- Interpretation of drawings and 3D digital files
- Carry out inspection of your work (CMM and Manual)
- Maintain clean and tidy stations
- Produce work of a high standard by adhering to quality standards to ensure that product is produced to agreed specifications.
- Maintain a good working relationship with colleagues to promote successful teamwork.
- Time served / equivalent experience in a precision machining company
- Competent in inspecting own work using CMMs and gauges to verify product quality
- Conversant with Mikron and YCM machinery (Preferable)
- Working to tight tolerances
- Experience of working with a wide range of materials including mild steels, brass, bronzes, aluminium, plastics, super duplex etc.
