CNC Programmer responsibilities include -
- Program CNC machines and robots for efficient and accurate operations.
- Monitor production to meet daily targets and maintain high-quality output.
- Optimise cutting paths and machine settings to improve performance.
- Perform basic maintenance and troubleshoot issues with machines or robots.
- Implement Lean practices, including 5S and TPM, to support continuous improvement.
- Train new employees and interpret technical drawings for accurate setup and execution.
CNC Programmer desirable skills and experience -
- Experience working within a similar role - Milling machines.
- Experience CNC programming (offline).
- Confident with modern-day manufacturing technology.
- Time served, or a manufacturing/mechanical engineering education.
