A well-established precision engineering company is currently seeking an experienced CNC Setter/Operator to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a background in manufacturing, particularly within CNC Milling or Turning, to secure a long-term position with a business known for delivering high-quality, bespoke components to specialist industries.
Shifts Available: Fixed or Rotating (Days and Afternoons)
Salary: Up to 35,000 + 10% shift allowance for PM shift
Responsibilities of the CNC Setter/Operator:
- Set and operate CNC Milling or Turning machines to produce precision components.
- Perform quality checks using appropriate measuring equipment.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and help drive best practice.
- Maintain high levels of housekeeping and follow TPM procedures.
- Work collaboratively with the wider production team to meet daily targets.
We would love to hear from any CNC setter/Operators that have:
- Proven experience as a CNC Setter/Operator (Milling or Turning).
- Ability to read technical drawings and work to tight tolerances.
- Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Skilled in using measuring tools such as micrometers, verniers, and gauges.
