Are you a confident leader in social housing looking for your next challenge?

We're looking for a proactive and experienced Neighbourhood Team Leader to oversee a team of 7 Housing Officers and lead the delivery of exceptional neighbourhood and tenancy management services.

This is a hybrid role with a balance of home working, patch-based work, and time in the office offering both flexibility and the opportunity to stay connected with your team and communities.


About the Role:
Reporting to the Head of Neighbourhoods, youll:
  • Lead, motivate and develop a team of Housing Officers to deliver tenancy and estate management services.
  • Oversee complex tenancy issues, ASB cases, safeguarding concerns, and breaches of tenancy.
  • Ensure high standards of customer service, ensuring tenancies are sustained and neighbourhoods are safe and well-maintained.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Assets, Repairs, Building Safety) and external agencies (e.g. police, support organisations).
  • Monitor performance and KPIs, drive service improvements, and support continuous development.
  • Provide 1:1s, performance reviews, and recruit/induct new team members as needed.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven management experience in social housing, with a background in tenancy and estate services.
  • Strong people leadership skills with the ability to coach, support and drive high-performing teams.
  • Confident in handling ASB, safeguarding, enforcement, and neighbourhood planning.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with residents, partners, and colleagues.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Full UK driving licence (travel across patches will be required).
Additional Requirements:
  • This role requires a Basic DBS check.
