Science Technician

Role: Secondary School Science Technician

Location: Coventry / West Midlands region
Contract types: Full-time or part-time / term-time only / long-term or temp-to-perm

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare and set up equipment and materials for practical Science lessons (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)

• Ensure safe storage, maintenance and handling of equipment and chemicals (COSHH etc)

• Support teachers and students during practical sessions

• Maintain clean and organised laboratory/prep space

• Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Science Technician in a school or laboratory setting

• Strong understanding of science equipment, laboratory safety, and preparation of materials

• Science qualification (A-Level or higher) desirable

• Excellent organisation, communication and teamwork skills

• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
