Our client is a global leader who are in need of a Junior Electrical Engineer in the design and manufacture of advanced automated machinery used by producers of fasteners, engine valves, and other high-performance industrial components. They innovate, engineer, and support bespoke systems trusted by world-class manufacturers.

The Junor Electrical Engineer to develop, integrate, and support custom-built automated machines. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in PLC/HMI programming, electrical control system design, and machine commissioning, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical control systems for new and existing equipment.
  • Conduct testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and full machine commissioning.
  • Provide technical support and problem-solving both on-site at customer facilities and remotely via email/web access.
  • Work effectively with UK and international suppliers to source components and coordinate project requirements.

Experienced required:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Basic knowledge of Siemens and/or Rockwell Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMIs, and servo motion systems.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and methodical work approach.
