The Role:
Are you an enthusiastic, driven, and hard-working individual who wants to further your career within machining and become fully trained as a Honer as well as on a variety of other machining equipment? This role will train you to become part of an internationally renowned, industry-leading Aerospace company.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Produce steel parts for brake control valves for future Aerospace products
- Set and operate Honing machines to meet specifications of products in a timely manner with correct quality expected
- Perform tight tolerance measurements for precision work
- Ball lapping of products to meet specification requirements
- Use various tools applicable to Honing and Ball Lapping technical requirements
Skills required:
- Previous engineering background experience within manual machining and precision tooling
- Proven ability to measure and inspect parts to extremely tight tolerances
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Similar Industry Background in Aerospace, Automotive, or Precision Manufacturing
