Events and Logistics Coordinator

We’re recruiting on behalf of a respected charity in the humanitarian aid sector that delivers vital support to communities in need—both in the UK and internationally. They are currently seeking a highly organised and proactive Events and Logistics Coordinator to join their team based in Coventry.

This is a hands-on, varied role that plays a key part in the charity’s mission. You’ll be responsible for planning and delivering impactful events, managing logistics, and working closely with schools, churches, corporate partners, and volunteers to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and attending food-packing and community events across the UK
  • Managing logistics, including stock, equipment, and transport
  • Leading event set-up and breakdown, including manual handling
  • Hosting visiting groups and delivering presentations about the charity’s work
  • Supporting internal events such as CSR days and school visits
  • Maintaining accurate inventory and overseeing equipment maintenance
  • Ensuring health and safety compliance and supporting contingency planning
  • Working closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality events

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in event planning and logistics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
  • Confidence driving vans and handling physical tasks
  • Flexibility to travel and work outside standard hours
  • A full, clean UK driving licence
  • A genuine passion for humanitarian and community-focused work
