Qualified Finance Manager - Asset Finance

£80,000 Basic plus excellent package

James George Recruitment are working exclusively with a Tier 1 Funder, in their search for a Qualified Finance Manager. You will manage and lead the legal entity in all aspects of business and financial planning, control, and project/program management. As a subject matter expert, you will ensure alignment with finance and control policies to enable effective and efficient organisational leadership and optimise business results.

Key responsibilities will include:

Finance Leadership: Provide strategic financial guidance and leadership to the organisation, ensuring robust financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. You will be managing a Finance team of 5 people.
Business Partnering: Act as a true business partner to key stakeholders within the local business, across the wider Group, fostering strong collaborative relationships.
Financial Control: Oversee financial control mechanisms to ensure compliance with policies and regulations, and to safeguard the organisation's assets.
Project Management: Lead and manage financial aspects of projects and programs, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Performance Optimisation: Challenge the business where necessary to drive performance improvements and optimise business results.
Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders to provide insights and support decision-making processes, contributing to the overall strategic direction of the organisation.

Strong analytical skills. Keen attention to detail and accuracy.

Experience

You will have a minimum of five years’ experience (post professional qualification) managing a Finance team in a commercial setting
Experience of working in asset finance advantageous
Experience of working within a large multinational business an advantage

Qualifications

Accounting qualification: ACA, ACCA, CIMA (or equivalent)
UK driving license
