This Shadow Advisor/Paraplanner role is best suited to a Level 4 Diploma qualified Paraplanner or someone close to achieving it, who wants to be part of a close-knit team where both professional and personal growth is strongly supported. There is the opportunity to progress into a Financial Advisor.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Provide comprehensive paraplanning support to a financial advisor.
  • Sit in meetings with the financial advisor, and support where possible.
  • Work with the financial advisor to support clients.
  • Prepare detailed client suitability reports and annual review documents, ensuring compliance with both FCA regulations and firm-specific guidelines.
  • Conduct thorough research on products, funds, and investments to support informed financial advice.
  • Perform tax calculations and stay abreast of changes in tax legislation to ensure accurate financial planning.
