We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our growing team in a fast-paced Dispatch Centre. You will be responsible for the on day allocation of jobs either manually or system driven, ensuring jeopardies are managed correctly for all field resources. With training and development, you will become technically competent and will be able to provide an excellent service to both engineers and the public.

Key Accountabilities

  • Regular communication with engineers and customers to ensure all jobs are acknowledged and attended by the allocated time and assist with any issues.
  • Ensuring jobs are in alignment with the engineers’ schedules for that day.
  • Demonstrating strong inter-personal skills with an ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and customers.
  • Maximising the efficiency of on day resources.
  • Utilising the systems required to maximise their effectiveness.
  • Supporting and coaching colleagues in order to achieve individual, team and departments goals and aspirations.
  • Supporting the leadership team with resilience events (BCM, incidents).
  • First point of contact for Network Supervisors and responsible for escalating issues to the relevant supervisor.
  • Ensuring delivery of the on- day plan, including providing feedback on any operational resourcing and performance issues.
  • Carrying out all activities in accordance with the relevant policies, standards and procedures.

About You

We are looking for individuals who have the below qualities:

  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, to ensure successful relationships are established and maintained.
  • Methodical, tenacious and customer focused.
  • Able to consistently work towards set objectives and tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with a high volume of incoming calls and maintain a calm and professional manner.
  • Data input skills (speed and accuracy).
  • Logical thinking with the ability to resolve problems quickly and effectively.
  • Computer literate, with basic understanding of MS Office packages.
  • Attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Able multitask with a high level approach to problem solving.

Key Details:

  • Start date: Monday 22nd September 2025
  • Pay rate: Week 1- Week 12 £15.72 which includes a 20.8% shift uplift. From week 13 onwards this will change to £16.14.
  • Contract type: Temporary assignment via Reed Talent Solutions.
  • Shift pattern: 12 hour shift pattern (every 8 weeks) - you would work 4 days on & 4 days off
  • Contract: 6-month temporary assignment with a view to be extended to 9 months
  • Location: Pilot Way Ansty Park, Coventry, CV7 9JU
  • Onsite/hybrid/remote: Full time on site
