Our Client are currently looking for In-Situ Machinists to join there very busy site team who are working on contracts across the world.

CANDIDATES MUST LIVE WITHIN A COMMUTABLE DISTANCE OF COVENTRY
AS YOU WILL BE BASED OUT OF COVENTRY WHEN BACK IN THE UK
EXCEPTION FOR EXPERIENCED INSITU MACHINISTS - MUST BE BASED IN UK
We are looking for skilled machinists that have been apprentice trained in a heavy engineering environment and trained in the competent operation of medium to large workshop lathes, milling machines, vertical borers and particularly large horizontal boring machines.
Previous experience of In-Place Machining work would be of great advantage in this application but not essential.
Candidates must be resourceful, confident, physically fit and have a current passport. You must be willing to travel worldwide at very short notice and in some cases be prepared to stay up to 4-5 weeks on site before repatriation to UK.

We operate large portable milling, boring, and facing machines. We take the machine shop to the work site.
We travel all over the world in support of all types of global industry. One day on a naval ship in the Caribbean the next in a steel works in India, that’s a typical environment.
You could be working as part of a team on very big projects or working in a 2 man team on a smaller project. Your engineering knowledge will be tested and expanded in all situations. You must have a “thinking outside the box mentality” and a “can do” attitude.
