What you'll do:
As a Personal Injury Solicitor, you will be:
- Working collaboratively with the existing Claimant Personal Injury team and managing your own caseload.
- Handling new and existing claims, including litigated matters.
- Travelling to meet clients and potential witnesses in person.
- Attending Court hearings.
- Liaising with Barristers, medical experts, and other professionals to assist with each claim.
- Preparing and drafting documents, briefs, instructions, and schedules.
- Valuing claims and dealing with settlement negotiations.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Personal Injury Solicitor role will:
- At least 3 years' of experience in a similar role (in-house or private practice).
- Experience of working in a target driven commercial environment would be an advantage.
- A proven track record of dealing with high value claims and a strong billing history.
- Knowledge of Conditional Fee Agreements.
- Experience of dealing with pre-litigated and litigated claims.
- Knowledge of the Ministry of Justice portal.
- Excellent organisational skills including the ability to effectively prioritise and time-manage workload/tasks.
