Role responsibilities
- Preparing year-end accounts for a range of clients under FRS 102 (1A) and FRS 105
- Supporting the production of monthly and quarterly management accounts
- Preparing VAT returns and other financial submissions for clients
- Assisting managers in managing client relationships and meeting deadlines
- Liaising directly with clients to collect records and resolve queries
- Contributing to internal improvements in processes and reporting
- Continuing to develop knowledge through on-the-job experience and structured training

Candidate requirements
- AAT qualified or ACA / ACCA part-qualified with 2+ years of experience in a UK accountancy practice
- Experience preparing year-end accounts, VAT returns and supporting management accounts
- Strong understanding of FRS 102 (1A) and FRS 105
- Self-motivated and committed to continuing professional development
- Good communication and organisational skills with attention to detail
- A positive attitude and a team-focused approach
