About the company
I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM, based in Whitley, who are seeking a Functional Safety Validation Engineer to join their team
Duties:
- This function is responsible for the functional safety verification of battery management controls software.
- A Specialist Professional (P4) is a recognized subject matter expert in job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.
Responsibilities typically include:
- Understand and co-ordinate activities between all stakeholders in order to deliver safety-related verification activities
- Ensure common approach and common technical solutions where possible across all projects
- Ensure that ISO26262 (Part 6) / (Parts 4&5) are satisfied.
- Problems faced are difficult and often complex.
Skills:
- Technical knowledge of ISO26262 (Part 6) / (Parts 4&5)
Education:
- Degree or relevant equivalent experience preferred
