Principal Systems Engineer
Location: Coventry Hybrid and flexible working arrangements available
Salary: £51,500 - £61,500

What Youll Be Doing:
- Provide subject matter expertise and advice on Systems Engineering to internal and external stakeholders
- Coach and mentor others in Systems Engineering practices
- Lead and supervise the tailoring and development of Systems Engineering practices for specific projects or programmes
- Effectively communicate and negotiate with stakeholders to ensure optimised systems development and delivery
- Work collaboratively across Engineering disciplines and other functions, absorbing and processing new domain knowledge quickly
Your Skills and Experience:
- Extensive experience in Systems Engineering with a strong understanding of the full engineering lifecycle
- In-depth knowledge of systems engineering approaches, processes, and procedures
- A solid grounding in the science of engineering, including physics, chemistry, and mathematics
- Degree qualified (or equivalent experience) in a STEM-related discipline
- Awareness of the disciplines that impact system design, including engineering, law, management, logistics, and politics
- Membership in a relevant professional institution and Chartered Engineer status (or working towards it)
- Proven ability to coach, mentor, and assist others
