We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CAD Development Engineerto join our team on a contract basis.The ideal candidate will have a background in automotive engineering,with a specific focus on interior systems.
Role Overview
This is a hands-on CAD development role where you will be responsible for creating,modifying,and refining CAD models for automotive interior components.Your primary focus will be on ensuring the quality,accuracy,and manufacturability of all designs.While the core of this role is development,any prior experience in CAD concept designwould be considered a significant bonus.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed CAD work on a variety of automotive interior systems.
- Develop and refine component and assembly models,with a strong focus on generating accurate sections and layouts.
- Ensure all designs meet stringent quality and efficiency standards.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams,maintaining excellent communication and clarity in all interactions.
- Demonstrate strong responsiveness and flexibility with work schedules to accommodate potential time zone differences.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as a CAD engineer,preferably within the automotive industry.
- Extensive knowledge of interior design systems and components.
- High level of proficiency with CATIA.
- A meticulous approach to work,with a strong focus on quality and detail.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
