Prototype Planner - 36037672 - £27.42/hr umbrella rate

What You Will Do:

- Ensure delivery promises are secured and logged within one week of receipt, meeting prototype build requirements.

- Maintain a high standard of performance by ensuring 87% of parts for the first car of each schedule are received by the required deadline.

- Eliminate build stoppages and losses for all prototype builds by managing Non-Released Parts (NRP) effectively.

- Coordinate on-time shipping collections using the most cost-efficient transport methods.

- Build strong supplier relationships, negotiating delivery dates and production slots to support multiple prototype production builds.

- Collaborate with internal teams to align engineering exports, tool room schedules, and 3D printing operations with prototype build demands.

- Visit key suppliers to review performance and identify opportunities for improvement while fostering strong partnerships.

What You Will Bring:

- A results-driven mindset with the ability to achieve departmental objectives and deliver on commitments.

- Strong negotiation and communication skills to manage supplier relationships and resolve part supply issues.

- The ability to work collaboratively across teams to ensure successful prototype build events.

- Proven track record of success in a logistics, planning, or supply chain role.
