We’re seeking a hands-on, forward-thinking Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer who knows how to diagnose, interrogate, and solve problems using PLC logic – and who thrives under pressure.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Rapid response to breakdowns and implementation of PPMs across critical plant machinery

  • Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical faults using PLC interrogation tools and diagnostic techniques

  • Working with sensor feedback and logic signals to determine root causes

  • Installing, commissioning, and maintaining CNC and foundry equipment

  • Delivering improvements through continuous improvement initiatives

  • Reading and interpreting electrical, mechanical, and PLC wiring diagrams

  • Supporting a proactive maintenance culture alongside a collaborative engineering team

What We’re Looking For
  • Strong PLC fault-finding ability – understanding how PLCs work, how to read the data, and how to isolate and resolve faults

  • Experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, and a confident electrical understanding

  • Comfortable working with CNC machinery (training provided if needed)

  • NVQ Level 3 in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

  • Resilient and adaptable – ready to take ownership on shift

  • Team-oriented with a proactive and flexible approach to engineering challenges
