A Maintenance Engineer opportunity has opened up within a precision engineering company. This is a facility which offers a great work / life balance as well as a great team of skilled Engineers to work with. The hours of work on this position are 7.30am -16.30pm, Monday to Thursday and 07.30am - 12.30pm on Fridays. The salary on offer is 42,000 depending on experience.
Maintenance Engineer key responsibilities:
- Perform general repairs and ongoing servicing of machinery on-site.
- Diagnose and resolve faults as needed.
- Keep manufacturing management regularly informed on progress.
- Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance.
- React promptly to any machine breakdowns, solving problems efficiently.
- Follow company health and safety policies
- Monitor and maintain maintenance tools, stores, and equipment.
Maintenance Engineer desired skills and experience:
- Proven experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Relevant manufacturing/engineering qualifications (Level 3 in Engineering and/or higher)
