You’ll be working closely with production, design, and quality teams to optimise CNC machining operations and support new product introductions.Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and optimise machining processes for CNC milling and turning operations
  • Support the introduction of new products from concept to production
  • Analyse and improve existing manufacturing methods to reduce cost and increase efficiency
  • Create and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and tooling specifications
  • Collaborate with design and quality engineers to ensure manufacturability and compliance
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting on the shop floor
Requirements
  • Degree or HND in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in a machining/manufacturing engineering role
  • Strong knowledge of CNC programming, tooling, and machining techniques
  • Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is a plus
