Develop and optimise machining processes for CNC milling and turning operations
Support the introduction of new products from concept to production
Analyse and improve existing manufacturing methods to reduce cost and increase efficiency
Create and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and tooling specifications
Collaborate with design and quality engineers to ensure manufacturability and compliance
Provide technical support and troubleshooting on the shop floor

Requirements

Degree or HND in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience
Proven experience in a machining/manufacturing engineering role
Strong knowledge of CNC programming, tooling, and machining techniques
Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar)
Excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is a plus
