Manufacturing Process Engineer (Furnace Specialist)

Reporting To: Maintenance and Engineering Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Manufacturing Process Engineer - Furnace to join our team. This is a key role responsible for the efficient operation, improvement, and development of all furnace systems on site. If you have hands-on furnace experience and thrive in a fast-paced, technical environment, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair process plant and equipment issues
- Drive continuous improvement of heat treatment and furnace processes
- Deliver training to employees on heat treatment operations
- Prepare and distribute technical reports and documentation
- Provide technical support across group companies
- Plan, design, and implement productivity and cost-saving initiatives
- Develop new thermal processes (e.g. vacuum sintering)
- Provide emergency support for heat treatment plant
- Conduct safety system tests and maintain compliance records
- Maintain and process SAP planning sheet inquiries
- Support development and maintenance of FMEAs
- Create and maintain SOPs for all process-related equipment
- Manage process-related spare parts and inventory
- Support internal audits across all shifts as needed
Equipment & Process Support:
- Understand departmental machine and process capacities
- Assist maintenance teams with critical spare parts identification
- Complete machine fix reports and provide plant training
