Engineering / Operations Manager – Welding & Fabrication
Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 (higher available for the right candidate)
Location: Coventry (within 25-mile radius)

Key responsibilities

Lead and develop engineering and operations teams, ensuring efficiency across welding, fabrication, and laser cutting processes

Oversee project delivery from contract review through to completion, ensuring quality, cost and deadlines are met

Drive improvements across production methods, reducing waste and increasing output quality

Work closely with production and planning teams to align schedules and priorities

Support customers with technical expertise and resolve issues effectively

Contribute to business growth by identifying opportunities for efficiency, innovation and new work streams
About you

Strong track record in Engineering Management or Operations Management within a welding/fabrication environment

Excellent knowledge of engineering drawings and processes

Confident leader with a hands-on approach and natural ability to motivate teams

Commercially aware, with the ability to manage projects and engage directly with clients

Based within 25 miles of Coventry
