We are looking for anEngineering Managerwho wants to work in a diverse rolewhere no two days are the same.
TheEngineering Manager,will be responsible for:
- Enhance the performance of estates shift teams through effective leadership
- Implement personalised development plans via Staff Development Reviews and cultivate innovation to boost efficiency and quality
- Provide expert advice for lifecycle works and capital projects while engaging external consultants
- Participating in project boards for large-scale initiatives
- Manage budget expenditures and ensure service contracts provide optimal value
- Conducting auditsand implementing supportive IT systems.
- Communicate effectively with regular reports for the Director of Estates.
To be successful for this Engineering Manager role you must have:
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Building Services Engineering or mechanical/electrical engineering
- Extensive Hard FM assets and services
- Strong knowledge of engineering systems, including medical gas and ventilation systems
- Familiarity with Health Technical Memorandum standards related to the design, construction, and maintenance of healthcare facilities
- Membership in professional bodies like IMechE or CIBSE is desirable
- Previous experience as an Authorised Personis preferable
