A prestigious housing developer based in the West Midlands is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to join a new site in Coventry. The successful candidate will be offered a salary of up to £53,000 plus a competitive package.
Job Duties:- Assist the Site Manager in overseeing all aspects of the construction site
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and tradespeople
- Manage and monitor site progress
- Resolve any issues that may arise on site
- Assist in quality control and compliance with building regulations
- Communicate effectively with the Site Manager, contractors, and suppliers
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification
- CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card
- First Aid certification
- Valid Driving Licence
- Previous experience in a similar role within the construction industry
- Knowledge of timber frame house building techniques
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Previous experience working for a housing developer
- Additional health and safety certifications
