We have a very exciting opportunity to join a European tier 1 automotive supplier in a new role as they establish their UK operation which will lead the Production and Maintenance teams in a Lean Manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Define and implement the Production and Maintenance team model
- Establish a robust Lean manufacturing process, lead and manage Production and Maintenance teams and manage KPI reporting
- Ensure compliance with EHS and Quality requirements
- Employ a continuous improvement approach to optimise productivity, using systems in place
Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in a managerial role within production and maintenance in an automated technical manufacturing environment (engineering, mechanics, industrial, automotive)
- Engineering related degree or equivalent experience
- Expertise in Lean Manufacturing tools
- Systems capability across ERP, CMMS solutions
- Excellent communication skills and MS Office fluency
