We are seeking an Engineering Technician to join our Coventry production team, working Monday to Friday from 2:00pm to 10:00pm.
The position offers a salary of £37,000 per annum and is a full-time, permanent role.
Candidates should have technical or engineering experience in food, FMCG, or manufacturing, along with strong mechanical fault-finding skills.
Key responsibilities include operating machinery, diagnosing technical issues, performing routine maintenance, and supporting team members.
Ideal applicants should be familiar with Redzone or similar systems, and possess a proactive mindset with attention to detail.

We’re hiring an Engineering Technician to join our Coventry-based production team. You'll operate and maintain key equipment (flow wrappers, multi-head weighers, conveyors, automated packing lines), resolve breakdowns, and ensure smooth, efficient, and safe operations.

Key Responsibilities of an Engineering Technician:

Operate, monitor, and adjust machinery to meet production targets
Diagnose and fix technical issues to minimise downtime
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning to prevent breakdowns
Support and train shift team members to optimise performance
Work with Engineering on asset care and performance improvements
Log issues and use Redzone to track production activity
Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency
Follow all health & safety and quality standards

The Ideal Engineering Technician will have:

Technical/engineering experience in food, FMCG, or manufacturing
Strong mechanical fault-finding skills
Familiar with Redzone or similar digital systems
Team player with a proactive mindset and attention to detail
