We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Bench Fitter to join their dynamic and growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fitting, assembling, and finishing high-precision components to exact specifications, ensuring the highest quality standards are met

  • Bench fitting and manual assembly of precision-engineered components
  • Deburring, polishing, and final finishing of parts *
  • Interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
  • Working with hand tools and precision measuring instruments
  • Ensuring quality checks are performed throughout the process
  • Collaborating with engineers and machinists to meet production goals
  • Adhering to health and safety standards and maintaining a clean work environment

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience in a similar Bench Fitting or Mechanical Assembly role
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation *
  • Skilled in using hand tools, files, deburring tools, and measuring equipment (micrometres, verniers, gauges)
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (preferred)
