ATA Recruitment are searching for a detail-driven Metrology Engineer with a passion for precision and quality. About the Role

As a Metrology Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of measurement processes that support product validation, quality assurance, and customer satisfaction. You’ll be involved in PSW submissions, internal PPAPs, annual re-qualifications, and goods inward inspections.

Metrology Engineer Key Responsibilities

  • Perform PSW and internal PPAP measurements aligned with project timelines and specifications.
  • Conduct annual re-qualification measurements for internal and external customers.
  • Support goods inward inspections and record results using SAP.
  • Provide measurement data for statistical analysis and problem-solving.
  • Collaborate with customer and supplier technical teams.
  • Ensure compliance with internal quality, safety, and environmental standards.

What We’re Looking For

  • Engineering qualification
  • Experience in a metrology or quality-focused engineering role.
  • Proficiency in PCDMIS programming and strong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T.
  • Familiarity with statistical methods and problem-solving tools such as 8D, Ishikawa, and FMEA.
  • Experience with SAP and standard measurement equipment.
