Planning Management Lead

Coventry - 2 - 3 days onsite per week

6 - 12 Month Contract

Lorien's Banking client are seeking a talented Planning Management Lead to join their dynamic team and play a pivotal role in driving their ambitious change agenda.

The Planning Management Lead will act as the key point of contact to provide progress updates on the Integration Programmes Regulatory Actions and ensure this remains aligned to plan.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Demonstrate a proven knowledge of delivery control frameworks, such as Risk Management, Dependency Management and
  • Delivery Frameworks. Extensive experience of process analysis, definition, reporting, and documentation, with lots of experience supporting Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
  • ?Promote execution focus through close monitoring of progress against the plan, test robustness through constructive challenge and artefact reviews and updating key programme planning artefacts.
  • From a planning perspective; identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks and issues that could impact the integration
  • Manage changes to the programme plan through the change control process, ensuring that changes are impact assessed, documented, approved and implemented.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement to improve the programme planning and execution processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Act as the key point of contact to provide progress updates on the Integration Programmes Regulatory Actions and ensure this remains aligned to plan

The successful candidate will have previous financial services experience as well as the following skills:

  • Previous experience of integrations, mergers and acquisitions, having worked on large change programmes of work with high levels of complexity.
  • Prior experience of working in a similar role within Financial Services / Banking.
