Streetwork Planning Manager

An amazing opportunity to transfer your skills from Streetwork's division within a Utility operator or contractor (Water, Gas, Telecoms) into a Consultancy environment.

Due to several project awards, we need 4x Permanent Streetwork Planning Manager to be based in one of the following locations:

  • Bristol
  • Birmingham
  • Leeds
  • Reading

Salary: 75,000 - 80,000 basic depending on experience + Travel

Overview:

The Resolute Group are working in partnership with a National managing consultancy that operates across the UK. Focused on delivering change and transformation projects across the Utilities sector, including Water, Gas, Power and Telecoms.

Role:

This role is to support the Senior Change Consultant who is leading the transformation programme. Working within the Streetworks and planning team, your role will be to identify potential issues with the processes, systems and skill gaps within the internal Planning team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance against NRSWA regulations and industry standards.
  • Monitor and assess the current process to minimise disruption to residents, businesses, and road users.
  • Liaise effectively with the various stakeholders involved with the streetworks and planning process.
  • Collate data regarding the records, permits, and documentation of streetwork planning activities.
  • Produce timely reports and updates on project progress and compliance.
  • Address and resolve operational issues, conflicts, or breaches of regulation.
  • Lead on the development and implementation of smarter working practices, including the use of digital tools and data-driven decision making.
  • Support cultural and organisational change, embedding best practice in streetwork planning management.

Qualifications / Experience

  • Degree qualified ideally or HNC / HND
  • Proven Planning experience within a Streetworks team
  • Flexibility to travel as required to client sites
